Trogir is one of the most beautiful towns in central Dalmatia. The old town is situated on a small island connected by bridges to the mainland and the island of Čiovo. In 1997 it was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Trogir is located close to the Split airport, which for people traveling by plane will definitely be a big plus.

One of the most popular places in Trogir is the wide seaside promenade, known in Croatia as Riva. Yachts and tourist boats are mooring right at its quay, offering excursions in the waters of the Adriatic Sea. Along the promenade there are many bars, cafes and restaurants serving local specialties, delicious coffee, refreshing drinks. The promenade is a perfect place for a walk, during which palm trees, stretching along its entire length, look at us.

Visiting the most important monuments of Trogir will take literally 2-3 hours. Later, you can sit in one of the cafes, with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, and relax in the Mediterranean climate.

There is a local market in the city. In addition to standard souvenirs and clothes, you can buy real specialties of the region there. Local residents offer a wide selection of fresh fruit, delicatessen, olive oil and alcohol. There is also a fish market where you can buy freshly caught fish and seafood in the mornings.
