Čiovo is a popular, picturesque island located west of Split, connected to the mainland by two bridges.

Čiovo is the closest island to Split airport, which is a great asset for tourists traveling by plane.

The flat terrain is mixed with mountainous hills, olive trees and lots of little bays full of pine trees. Čiovo is an island of many interesting and diverse coasts. It is a great place for unspoiled nature, lush vegetation and wild beaches lovers, which are abundant on the island. It is here that you can find the Mediterranean landscape, rich flora, beautiful views of the islands of the Central Dalmatian archipelago: Brač, Šolta and Hvar.

The main destinations worth visiting and most of the attractions are – Slatine, Okrug Donji, Okrug Gornji and Arbanija.

The largest town is Okrug Gornji. There is a port and many restaurants, bars and cafes. On the expansive Copacabana Beach, most of the dining and entertainment base is located.

Water trams run regularly from the port to the promenade of Trogir, cruise ships depart and there are water equipment rentals.

The great geographic location makes the island of Čiovo an ideal starting point for visiting numerous interesting places in the area.
